🌿🥕🥣SPRING VEGETABLES & CHICKEN SOUP🥣🥕🌿
I’ve been wanting to make this soup for a while now and today it became a reality!
If any of you have been lucky enough to receive the secret phone call or text message from me regarding extra broth leftover from the matzo ball soup or the carroty broth from the chicken noodle broth...well this soup is that on steroids (the select few will no what I’m talking about😜)
We begin with grated carrots cooked in original broth followed by red onions and the new season organic Italian garlic sautéed in the leftover fat from the broth till fragrant and translucent, tender chicken from the broth itself, a mixture of greens - leeks, cavolo nero, parsley, green capsicum and celery finely shredded and blanched in the broth ending with my secret ingredient to life...BUTTER.
We didn’t add pasta but I’d add it at work and home but only @olivegreenorganics of course.
We’ll leave that bit to you, rice, gluten free pasta or even potatoes would be a great addition just cook in a seperate pot.
A sprinkling of grated Parmesan is never a bad idea either

Getting through the jet lag with a major dose of all things Love and Bones Broth (dah😜) + lots of warm Sydney sunshine today and my newest go to....my favourite coffee which I treat myself to everyday because @paramountcoffeesydney is right next to my kitchen and they just happen to make the most insane shaken almond coffee with real in house made almond milk (in my recycled L&BB jar) but today I shook it up a notch higher and re-blended it at work with one of our smoothie broth cubes ⚡️for extra goodness (because after all my overindulgence I need it) and it was so good it’s happening daily! So happy to be home and back in my kitchen after spending the past 3 weeks checking out the food situation in Paris and London and though it was a lot of fun to explore these countries with my middle daughter I was truly amazed at the lack of healthy options in both countries, but especially in London. In Paris if you’re local and you can shop at local Marché you are spoiled for choice and one step ahead of everyone else. The produce is to die for and the freshness, seasonality and level of quality is second to none but the restaurants were mostly underwhelming with the exception of a few. London was really underwhelming. The level of freshness and quality of products was poor and unless you are wealthy you will struggle to eat seasonal fresh produce.
I was totally surprised, and in my memory was expecting it to be amazing. I only came across 2 bone broths on my travels that were both disappointingly in plastic packs and it opened my eyes to the potential that awaits products like Love and Bones Broth in these parts of the world but especially London where I thought they might have been more health conscious. It really made me realise how lucky we are as Australians to have this incredible produce and these products available at our fingertips to make our journey of optimum health so much more accessible.
This trip only ignited the flame inside to make a healthy way of eating a convenience to everyone worldwide. Healthy food should not be a luxury! Lets make it the norm🇬🇧⚡️🇫🇷⚡️🇦🇺

These beauties are reminding me of our deliciously delicate but equally soul comforting Tomato Broth based soup. Since I’ve been away it’s the only food group I’ve truly missed and craved, a beautiful nourishing soup. France might be the only place Bone Broth is not available in stores. Possibly because it is again a staple in most homes, something that is not looked upon as health food but a daily part of each meal. That’s why the Parisian look so slim and incredibly beautiful and healthy❤️ Get on it! It’s my secret for longevity and anti ageing - is it yours?

Some would say I'm bordering on obsessed, possibly bossy when it comes to my food choices and feeding of my family - I call it committed! Committed to having a healthier happier life and helping my kids make good food choices now and in the future. We are a 6 being family. My boyfriend Max (a photographer), our kids and our dog Mazzy. Like most families there are a million and two after school activities. Our life is chaotic.But despite this I feel we shouldn't neglect what we put into our bodies least of all our children's. I want my kids to eat as much unprocessed food as humanly possible, I want to show you how to do it. That is, how to feed a family super delicious healthy food.
