MSO Chicken in a pot

I'm off to Melbourne tomorrow so I'm being a little slack and posting a recipe/video from a long time ago when the Broth Lady was Michelle Schoeps Organic just a little blog where I documented what I was feeding my kids and Love and Bones Broth was not even a dream. A little younger and slightly plumper, if you'd told me then I'd be known as The Broth Lady only a few years down the road I'd have laughed. Yet here I am building my dream, sometimes painstakingly, little by little, feeling very proud of where this stay at home mum of three has got in the past 3 years. Grateful x

SHOP IT:

the best whole bird you can get your hands on

celery

capsicum

carrot

parsley stalks

leek

garlic

baby tomatoes

seasoning

COOK IT:

follow my instructions in the video....

put everything into a bigger enough pot

fill with filtered water so everything is covered, lid on

Into an oven at 160c for 4 hours or lower for a little longer..

I serve the broth in bowls with fresh greens, peas, melting chicken from the pot, noodles and a good slug of olive oil

simple food at its best!
